Teresa Young
Growing up in the Hollywood Hills, Young developed a unique creative style under the influence of Golden Age Hollywood photographer and videographer Ted Allan. Young’s love for the outdoors was inherited from her grandmother, whose lush garden on their Hollywood property instilled in Young a deep appreciation for plants and flowers.
Young’s background spans both visual arts and natural sciences, with a particular focus on etymology. Throughout her various creative and scientific pursuits, she consistently created visual media, often depicting animals and insects. In her 30s, she transitioned to large-format oil paintings, primarily focusing on California landscapes and wildlife.
